Best choice depends on tree coverage and control needs. Ollny Christmas Lights 1200 LED 393FT fits large trees and broad displays. Dazzle Bright Smart Christmas String Lights suits shoppers wanting app control, remote control, colors, and music sync. Mlambert 3 Pack 99FT Battery Operated Fairy Lights works where outlets are inconvenient. Pixel lights and flameless candles create specialized displays rather than standard full-tree illumination.

Top options by use case
Best for large coverage: Ollny Christmas Lights 1200 LED 393FT
Ollny Christmas Lights 1200 LED 393FT provides 393 feet and 1,200 warm-white LEDs. That length suits a large tree or a display spanning trees, railings, fences, and outdoor areas. Its remote offers 13 modes, four brightness levels, 4/6/8-hour timers, and memory. The supplied data states 29V low-voltage operation, a UL-certified plug, and IP67 outdoor protection. Verify exact installation and outdoor-use instructions before placing it outside.
Best for smart color control: Dazzle Bright Smart Christmas String Lights
Dazzle Bright Smart Christmas String Lights gives 98 feet of lights, plus a 13.1-foot lead wire. Bluetooth app control adds grouping, custom scenes, timers, and music synchronization. The included 44-key remote handles brightness, speed, timers, and modes. The lights cannot connect end to end, so measure tree and outlet distance before buying. IP44 is a limited water-resistance rating; confirm whether intended placement meets product instructions.
Best lower-cost smart option: Dazzle Bright 66FT 200 LED Smart Color Changing
Dazzle Bright 66FT 200 LED Smart Color Changing offers the same stated app, remote, scene, timer, and music-sync features in a shorter 66-foot string with 200 LEDs. Total stated length reaches 79 feet with the lead wire. Choose it for a smaller tree or less coverage. It also cannot connect end to end.
Best for animated graphics: Animated Pixel Christmas Tree Lights with Star
Animated Pixel Christmas Tree Lights with Star targets a different look. Its net displays pre-programmed Santa, reindeer, train, snowflake, and ornament graphics across the tree front. The set includes a star topper, USB controller, remote, and installation accessories. It does not include a Christmas tree. Choose it when graphic effects matter more than evenly wrapping individual branches.
Best battery-powered choice: Mlambert 3 Pack 99FT Battery Operated Fairy Lights
Mlambert 3 Pack 99FT Battery Operated Fairy Lights includes three 33-foot strings with 300 warm-white LEDs total. Two remotes are included, and one remote can control all strings. Each pack uses three AAA batteries, not included. The stated eight modes, dimming, timer, and memory cover basic remote operation without a nearby outlet. Battery replacement adds an ongoing task, especially with three strings.
Best for candle accents: 20 PCS Flameless LED Window Candles with Remote
20 PCS Flameless LED Window Candles with Remote includes clip-mounted taper lights that can attach to a tree. Each candle uses one AA battery, not included. Remote controls brightness, flicker frequency, power, and a six-hour timer cycling every 24 hours. These create separated candle points, not continuous string-light coverage.
Do not confuse remote lights with remote outlets
Wireless Remote Control Outlet and BN-LINK Wireless Remote Control Outlet Electrical control power to a plugged-in light. They do not create light and should not rank as Christmas tree lights. The supplied data lists 10A/1200W ratings and remote ranges up to 130 feet for SURNICE and 100 feet for BN-LINK in line-of-sight conditions. Check device ratings and outlet compatibility before use. BN-LINK data states outlets remain off after a power outage.
How to choose
- Measure coverage. Compare tree size with stated light length. Remember that lead wire does not add illuminated coverage.
- Choose light style. Warm white gives a fixed traditional look; RGB lights offer color scenes; pixel nets show graphics; candles create spaced accents.
- Choose power source. Plug-in lights avoid routine battery changes. Battery lights suit areas without a convenient outlet but require batteries.
- Check control distance. Remote operation needs a clear enough signal path. App control also needs Bluetooth pairing and a compatible phone.
- Check placement limits. IP44, IP65, and IP67 claims describe different protection levels. Follow exact product instructions for indoor or outdoor placement.
- Check connection limits. The Dazzle Bright strings cannot connect end to end. Plan separate power and control positions if using multiple strings.
Bottom line
Pick Ollny for maximum listed coverage, Dazzle Bright for app-based color effects, Mlambert for battery-powered warm-white lighting, Pixel lights for animated graphics, or flameless candles for individual accents. Confirm tree dimensions, power access, remote requirements, and placement instructions before purchase.
